About This Park

Sylvan Hill Mountain Bike Park is a purpose-built gravity bike park on Wausau's north side, developed by the Central Wisconsin Offroad Cycling Coalition with Rock Solid Trail Contracting and opened in 2017. A 1.3-mile outer loop climbs the former tubing hill, while three progressively harder downhill-only flow and jump lines branch off for beginner through double-black options. The Coates Lane trailhead includes a pump track and skills area for warm-ups before dropping into the jump lines. Parking is at the top of the hill on Coates Lane with overflow at Wausau East High School nearby.
