About This Park

The Capital City Family BMX pump track at Gier Park in Lansing is a city-built asphalt pump track beside the long-running Capital City Family BMX facility on North East Street. Opened in June 2024, it features two asphalt circuits with gentler and steeper lines, repurposed from an old city parking lot and funded by the City of Lansing and the Lansing Sports Commission. Riding is free and open to the public weather permitting, with weekly summer race programming through Capital City Family BMX.
