About This Park

Elliot Skatepark is Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board's Elliot Park Skate Plaza at 901 South 8th Street in downtown Minneapolis. California Skateparks and Custom Builders replaced modular 2004 equipment with an all-concrete street layout featuring a skateable seat wall, quarter pipe, rails, ledges, lighting, permeable patio, and rain gardens when the plaza opened in July 2021. City of Skate advocacy helped secure county and watershed funding for what is now the largest skatepark in the Minneapolis park system.
