About This Park

Pier Park Skate Park is Grand Island Parks and Recreation's outdoor facility at 623 South Pine inside Pier Park. The city opened the original 14,200-square-foot park in October 2001 and completed a major renovation in fall 2025, replacing wood and steel structures with modern concrete elements built by Artisan Concrete Services. Admission is free during park hours.
