About This Park

Bend Skatepark at Ponderosa Park is Bend Park & Recreation District's flagship concrete facility on the south end of Ponderosa Park near Wilson Avenue and 15th Street. Opened in 2014 with PUSH community support, the roughly 12,000-square-foot complex mixes quarter- and half-pipes, stairs, rails, and ledges on dry days. BMX and scooter riders should use the original multi-purpose skate area at the park's northwest corner; the newer main bowl is skateboard-focused.
