About This Park

Joel Tanzi Skate Park is Central Point's memorial concrete skatepark at 403 South Fourth Street across from Central Point Elementary School. Opened in 2005 and named for the local teen who championed the project, the Purkiss-Rose street layout offers rails, stairs, ledges, and grinding blocks for beginners through advanced riders. Restrooms, drinking fountains, and picnic tables sit beside the 6,500-square-foot pad; helmets are required and bikes are not allowed.
