About This Park
Newberg Skate Park — officially Chehalem Skatepark — is a 29,000-square-foot concrete park built by Dreamland Skateparks in 2000 at Ewing Young Park, run by the Chehalem Park and Recreation District. One of Dreamland's first large projects, it is known for deep, flow-oriented bowls and transition, and bikes are permitted. Ewing Young Park also holds a BMX track, playground, restrooms, walking trails, and a disc golf course at 1201 S Blaine St.
