About This Park

The Turf is a legendary concrete skatepark at 4267 West Loomis Road in Greenfield, reborn in 2025 on the site of the 1979 Surf-N-Turf bowls that helped define Midwest pool skating. Restored original bowls sit alongside new street and transition lines in a free public park visible from the I-894 interchange. The nonprofit Turf project welcomes skateboards, BMX, and scooters during posted park hours.
