About This Park

New Columbia Bicycle Skills Park is a compact neighborhood skills area at the corner of North Trenton and North Woolsey in Portland's New Columbia public housing community, built by the Community Cycling Center in 2013 on a Home Forward lot beside the Bike Repair Hub. Wood ramps, a berm, and a bicycle teeter-totter give young riders a safe place to build balance and confidence away from traffic. The park is free and open during daylight hours as part of the broader New Columbia open space.
