About This Park
North Park Bike Terrain Park is the bike skills and freeride area in Allegheny County's North Park, off South Ridge Drive near Pie Traynor Field. The county describes the area as a place for riders to build skills on jump lines, skinny logs, rock gardens, drop lines, and a pump track. Trail Pittsburgh adds local context for the Dr. J Freeride Trail, progressive skills lines, and seasonal closures during winter and spring thaw.
