Reed City's off-road bike park sits in Westerburg Park, a 46-acre city park along the Hersey River that also holds ball diamonds, basketball courts, pavilions, restrooms, and a playground. Trail builder Jonathan Zelinski designed the dirt skills course, and volunteers built it in fall 2022 with donated equipment, coordinated through Crossroads Recreation Connection, a local recreation nonprofit. The beginner course opened first, with a more advanced section planned as a later phase. The City of Reed City lists the off-road/BMX bike park among Westerburg Park's facilities, and the park connects via the Linear Park Purple Heart Trail to Rambadt Park and the White Pine Trail State Park.
