About This Park

Chandler Park Skatepark is a 15,000-square-foot concrete plaza on Detroit's east side at 12600 Chandler Park Drive near the Wayne County Family Aquatic Center, opened in 2021. Hardcore Skateparks built the layout after Chandler Park Conservancy, Built to Play, and local donors raised roughly $500,000 with input from neighborhood youth. The free public park offers ledges, banks, stairs, and rails for skateboards, BMX bikes, and scooters.
