Gateway Skate Spot is Portland Parks & Recreation's concrete skate area inside Gateway Discovery Park at 10520 Northeast Halsey Street in Hazelwood. Grindline Skateparks designed and Evergreen Skateparks built the 3,000-square-foot spot that opened in 2018 with a shallow bowl, ledges, banks, stairs, and handrails. The skate spot shares the activated plaza with an accessible playground, splash pad, and community events.
